Armed robber takes hundreds of dollars from Grand Island Casey’s store

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Grand Island police are looking for a suspect in an apparent armed robbery from over the weekend.
According to police, the incident happened just before 10 p.m. on Saturday at the Casey’s gas station on W Capital Ave.
Police said a man walked behind the sales counter, presented a handgun and demanded the money that was in the register.
The suspect fled before police arrived but did take off with approximately $500.
GIPD is asking for anyone with information regarding the robbery to contact police.
