KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - A Kearney judge Wednesday sent criminal cases against a Grand Island couple to trial court.

Jeremiah Kresser, 23, is charged in Buffalo County with felony robbery and use of a firearm to commit a felony. Angela Kresser, 51, is charged with felony accessory to a robbery. Both waived evidence hearings Wednesday and their cases were transferred to district court for possible trial

The pair are connected to separate convenience store robberies in Grand Island and Kearney at the end of December.

The pair were arrested December 30 for an armed robbery at a Kwik Stop in south Kearney. They were later arrested for a separate armed robbery at a Grand Island convenience store on December 29th

Hall County court records indicate the pair were married.

Formal charges in Hall County are pending.
