HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Some extra clouds will pass through overnight. This will keep low temperatures up a bit in the upper 30s and low to mid 40s. Winds will still be breezy on Sunday. It’ll be a mainly sunny day with a few clouds early. It will be just as warm, if not warmer than Saturday with highs in the upper 60s for some and lower 70s for most.

Warm weather continues into early next week. There may be a few more clouds around on Monday, but most will still warm into the upper 60s and lower 70s. Winds will be breezy. On another breezy day with sunshine Tuesday, temperatures will soar ahead of an approaching cold front. We should see widespread highs in the 70s with some approaching 80° in the south.

A cold front will pass through Tuesday night, brings some cooler air into the area on Wednesday. High temperatures could be wide ranging from the lower 40s northwest to near 70° in the southeast. There will be a slight chance for rain, possibly mixed with snow during this time. The main chance will be in Northern Nebraska.

A slightly better chance for more of the area to pick up some moisture will be Wednesday night into Thursday. Much of it will be rain, but there could be a little snow if it gets cold enough at night. I expect temperatures to be a bit chilly, mostly in the 40s on Thursday, but this will depend on moisture. If we end out getting little to nothing, it may end out being a little warmer.
