HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Winds will turn a bit breezier starting on Friday. Some of the strongest winds will come during the weekend at 15 to 25 mph. The wind may help to provide some relief from the warmer temperatures. We’ll be seeing a lot of upper 80s and low to mid 90s. In Northern Nebraska, temperatures may push to near triple digits on Saturday. Sunshine is expected to continue through the weekend. By Sunday evening, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. There will be other slight chances throughout next week. None of these rain chances are a sure thing those and nothing organized is expected. While severe weather would be possible, widespread severe storms are not expected. Meanwhile, temperatures will likely still be staying quite warm in the upper 80s and lower 90s for most. Low temperatures will mostly be in the mid to upper 60s.
