GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - One local business decided to give back to people who may have hit a rough patch on their journey of life with a Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Currently, e-Titan Vapors is accepting non-perishable food items and cash, through its first-ever food collection and drive.

One of of the owners said they are accepting cans of soup or cash and the items can be dropped off at any of their three business locations.

The e-Titans Vapors brick and mortar locations are in Kearney, Hastings and Grand Island.

Co-owner, Jacob Martikainen explained how folks in the community are responding.

“Each community has been amazing and wonderful, a lot of them come in and they haven’t really asked oh, can I win something? They’ve been asking, how can I give rather than how can I win? So it’s been very amazing, great, great feedback,” said Martikainen.

What’s unique about this food collection and drive is the owners purchased three, $1,000 flat screens televisions which will be raffled off to people who donate cash or food.

People wanting to make a donation can do so until Nov. 22.

The owners will use the remainder of the time to pick the raffle winners and prepare the Thanksgiving meals for the families.
