Central Nebraska track & field standouts compete at Midwest Night of Stars

LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - Nebraska Wesleyan University hosted the inaugural Midwest Night of Stars track & field event Saturday. The multi-state competition welcomed some of the best athletes in the area to compete head-to-head.
Central Nebraska was well-represented. Northwest’s Avyn Urbanksi won the girls 100-meter dash, Aurora’s Carsen Staehr won the boys triple jump and Kearney Catholic’s Alyssa Onnen won the girls pole vault, among other results.
