HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Coming off of what was a really nice Sunday, today won’t be terribly bad. It’ll still be fairly mild, but there will be a few clouds around long with some breezy winds. Right away this morning, winds are breeziest in the east (out of the south) and way out west (out of the northwest. In between the winds are a bit lighter. This is closer to a surface trough that will push east across the area. This trough will turn winds out of the northwest and winds will pick up behind the trough at 15 to 20+ mph. Some gusts to 30 mph are possible. Some clouds across the east will clear out, but there will be at least partly cloudy if not mostly cloudy skies behind the surface trough. High temperatures this afternoon will still be seasonably mild as they range from the upper 30s north and west to around 50° in the southeast. Those winds will remain breezy overnight with some clouds lingering through the evening. Those clouds will clear up later in the night. By tomorrow morning, skies will be clear and winds will lighten up. Lows tonight will mainly be in the 20s. Expect plenty of sunshine and lighter winds the next few days. Highs on Tuesday will once again range from the upper 30s north to the lower 50s southeast. Expect similar highs on Wednesday. There will be a small chance of light rain in far eastern areas Wednesday.
